Power-users of any application are always looking for little tricks & tips to save time. GoldMine power-users are no different. Here’s one I like:
Within your end-user options (preferences) under the “Record” tab is an option you can check called “Select contents of fields.”
Once that is selected, when you click into a field the entire field is “painted” as you see below so you can immediately overwrite the entire field or copy the contents. It eliminates the need to have drag over or backspace delete the contents of the field.
Keeping your CRM data current and accurate is critical to sales, marketing, and reporting. And, gven all the times you enter fields to perform these functions in a field the small time savings really starts to add up.
